Yoga Therapy is based on the principle that the body is self-healing and that the healing processes can be stimulated by taking responsibility for it and dealing with it consciously. By introducing healthy physical and mental habits (rituals), someone can work on his/her own health with relatively little effort. Yoga Therapy approaches both and contributes to stress relief, more self-awareness and a healthier body. 

Daria's focus, as a Yoga Therapist, is on Burn-out Prevention & Recovery. She offers private 1:1 sessions.

 

MANAGING STRESS AND WITH IT BURN-OUT PREVENTION & RECOVERY

It is all about taking charge: taking charge of your thoughts, your emotions, your schedule, your environment and the way you deal with problems. The ultimate goal is a balanced life, with time for work, relationships, relaxation, and fun – plus the resilience to hold up under pressure and meet challenges head on.

There are many healthy ways to manage and cope with burn-out, but they all require change. You can either change the situation or change your reaction. When deciding which option to choose, it’s helpful to think of the four A's: avoid, alter, adapt, or accept.

Since everyone has a unique response to burn-out, there is no “one size fits all” solution to managing it. No single method works for everyone or in every situation, so I teach to experiment with different techniques and strategies.

Daria's aim is to guide you through the change, provide different tools, which fit you and your lifestyle and are accessible to everyone. So you are eventually given agency, independence and therefore in the long run self trust while healing body and mind.

In these sessions you will practice relevant and hands-on techniques, which fit you as a person and your lifestyle. You will receive home-work to practice everyday to balance your nervous system, reduce anxiety and to stimulate energy. 

 

HOW DOES IT WORK?

You will begin with a free video intake call of 30 minutes; to introduce one another, to understand your specific need better and to prepare for the in-person session of 90 minutes at the studio.

Daria offers 2 forms of private in-person sessions of 90 minutes each:

- 1 private session

- A five-week Yoga Therapy Program of 1 private session per week consecutively

** 1 private 90 minute Yoga Therapy session: €75 

** A five-week Yoga Therapy Program: €299 

NON MEMBERS 

** 1 private 90 minute Yoga Therapy session: €95

** A five-week Yoga Therapy Program: €425

 

DARIA MNYCH 

Daria is specialized in coaching her clients during the recovery from burn-out, depression and anxiety.

She does so with easy and hands-on exercises and by implementing small life style changes. 

                 As a Yoga Therapist Daria is connected to the Dutch Association for Yoga Therapy – NVYT – and has graduated in 2020 from the CPION accredited study of Basic Medic Knowledge – Medische Basis Kennis.

 I found that yoga techniques teach you how to calm your body down

I was really stressed and couldn't find any way out. Maybe a bit exaggerated, but I didn't know what to do anymore. A lot of people told me about yoga. I wasn't sure, but still went looking for a private session, so I found Daria. In the beginning I was curious but had my reservations. After the first minutes I already was feeling more relaxed. Daria gave me the time to settle down and tell my story. After that I got a very specific yoga lesson to get rid of the restless feeling I had. 

I found that yoga techniques teach you how to calm your body down. I think Daria is very professional and the way she welcomes you immediately takes down the pressure en stress you fee

Daria was able to give me structure again in my life

I contacted Daria after having been diagnosed with burnout earlier this year. After the first initial weeks of sleeping, resting, weeping and sleeping again, I felt the need for structure in my life. Daria was able to give me just that: in her warm, engaging way she told me about the need of rituals, especially in a situation where everything is a grey blur. During our meetings, she was always 100% present, which is exactly what a wobbly person needs.

I started implementing the rituals. By taking care of my body and giving it kind attention, I also cared for my mind. I was soon able to walk further than just around the block, and having learned how to listen to my warning signs, I was able to build up strength and stamina again, physically and mentally
